Suddenly, there were three Wide Receivers on the Huygens IC Chips, and Griff was happy. DeJuan Marlon Achebe, the third WR, an astronomy transfer from a Community College in Cupertino, had arrived at Huygens a little late because of a paperwork mix-up, but, there he was in Griff's office, standing 6'2" and weighing 180 pounds, handing Griff films of games in which he had played, picking up his copy of the Huygens playbook. Griff stood up. "You are very welcome!" he said. "And now it is time to add Spread Options."

DeJuan would join the two other Wide Receivers: Baroni Nicoli Fiore, "The Baron", from the Massachusetts North Shore and from Charleston, West Virginia, Casey Conlon Murphy. Soon Griff was engrossed in watching DeJuan's films: DeJuan catching passes in high wind situations, DeJuan outrunning the defense, DeJuan celebrating appropriately in the end zone.

studio icon For the Spread Options, he was considering, he now had what was needed in addition to the Quarterback: three Wide Receivers and a Tight End: Caesar Jose Ortega from Bakersfield, California. It was late in the week, to introduce various versions of the Spread Offense, but although Griff did not know of any works of epic poetry dedicated to the Spread Offense, if he was an epic poet that was where he would begin.
