emerging from the tunnel of the new improved Huygens Tech stadium, ran the Huygens Tech football team.
Defense Coach Kekoa Alualu joined Griff on the sidelines. Two Defensive Ends ran past them: Reggie Abiodun Lapido and Jamil Akmal Shakir. They were followed by two Defensive Tackles: Noah Bailey Jones and Darnell Terrell Medina, formerly teammates, Bell Gardens, California. With them ran the Cornerback: Terell Orsino Washington from Camden New Jersey.
Composed primarily of Kekoa's Computer Science students, the now official Huygens band was playing the IC Chip's song. A few new verses had been added.
"Here come the linebackers". As he ran past them, Safety Edward Gabriel Arduin, a Black Creole from New Orleans with a just renewed Huygens Electronics Engineering scholarship, waved to the coaches.
The Sacramento Valley Harriers won the toss and elected to receive. Into position strode Chemical Engineering scholarship student, punter Rocco Raccugli, formerly Palermo F.C., Sicily, Italy.
